Framed

This has been the best week for some DIY at my house, we pick up “the mother load” of projects in the morning.  Did I say we?  Mr. Wonderful picks up my junk great finds tomorrow and it’s going to be hard to not sneak home from work. 

I was off today and Mr. Wonderful and I had quite the day.  We found bedding for my new room the guest room.  I wanted something simple, that I could add pillows to.  Pillows well not just any pillows, but how about a few leopard pillows.  I can’t wait.

If you read my blog, then you know I decided to do this room with NO BUDGET.  Oh wait, you didn’t think I meant NO budget like I’ll just spend whatever right?  I meant NO budget as in use what I have.  The exception was I needed “bed stuff” since The First Born left a naked bed when she moved out.  So we shopped numerous places and found this cute little set at Target.

I am a week late hanging the frames above the bed because Mr. Wonderful and I didn’t see eye to eye on how to hang them.  HMMMM.

The frames started out as cheap 2 for $10 frames.  A little paint, a little stain, some vinyl and POOF….do you love?

I had to have these knobs the minute I laid eyes on them.  I just had no clue what I would do with them, but I think they turned out to be great picture hanger thingies don’t you?
