Journal Your Christmas 12/1/10

It’s hard to believe it’s December 1st, Christmas will be here before we know it.  Are you ready?  I’m not even started, ok I started I have bought one gift and it’s not even a book that is on anyone’s list.  I am trying this year to stick to a list.  I asked the big kids (you know the two that are grown and shouldn’t still be making Christmas list) to make a list-

  1. Something you need.
  2. Something you want.
  3. Something you wear.
  4. Something you read.

Then I will do a fifth gift which will just be “Mom’s Choice”.  I’ll be wrapping these gifts in some type of theme, I haven’t picked it yet.  We’ll open these gifts on Christmas morning, together.  Yeap those grown kids are coming home to stay at the house Christmas eve.  Makes me so happy.

I can’t wait to journal this season, I’m not trying to do 1,000 things this year.  I am keeping it simple and have decided to do my journal on my blog and in a scrapbook, I didn’t finish last year;s book which was for Shane so this year I’m going to fill in the pages I didn’t do last year.  Then all three kids will have a Christmas journal which was my goal when I started the class.  I wanted to record my love of Christmas for each of them to have.

If you’ve never heard of the class check it out.

About Michelle

I started my blog as a way to connect with other paper crafters and of course it has gone a totally different direction. I've been able to share my experience as a mother, my hurt and disappointments over not having a relationship with my maternal unit, my walk with God and how knowing Him has changed me and continues to help me grow into the person I strive to be......
