Red Hot

Ok, I have to admit Mr. Wonderful has scored some major Brownie Points.  He’s on vacation this week and today he spent his day doing this…….

CraftGossip

Did you squeal?  I did, when I pulled into the driveway tonight there she was in the garage waiting for me.  I love her!  Oh yeah and I love Mr. Wonderful; he has mass skills because she use to look like this.

Then he taped off the numbers because they wouldn’t come off, my first questions was, “How long did that taping take.”  One and a half hours was the answer.  He taped, cut, taped, cut until they were covered perfectly.  Stickers removed.  Hardware removed.

A little primer.

And then the fun begins.

And continues.

And drum roll please……

We are not sure we will leave it in the foyer, it’s a little large.  I will tell you there are no shoes on the floor.  Do you love her?  I do!  The First Born wants her, I love The First Born but the answer was NO!

I’m not 100% happy with the foo foo stuff, I think I may have to go shopping tomorrow.

    • Michelle says:

Currently shoes, but I’m going to put some baskets in there for keys, my daughters book bag etc. My hope is to find some cute magnets for the side where I can hang some pics, calendar etc.

  24. Wow, cool! What a fab job painting it out too! It looks as if he sprayed the outside. Did he roll the inside to avoid getting overspray on the side compartments?

Fun piece to work with! What a great idea for a front foyer though… shoes be gone!
