Finding Beauty!
Two nights ago I was on my way to do errands and I grabbed my camera, I have not been taking many pictures and I wanted to get some spring flowers. I noticed some really nice flowers, but I was scared to just stop and take pictures of people’s yards. I was worried about explaining it when the people wrote down my license plate and called the police. Is that weird, or do you take random pictures from your car?
I came home disappointed. It’s amazing when you slow down and look for beauty what you find in your own yard.

I am ashamed to say how many projects I have to choose from. I could do the girl’s bathroom, I could do the junk room, I could do my bedroom and the list goes on and on. I asked Mr. Wonderful what project he wanted to do, he reminded me of the projects he’s already done.
He said he’s not sure he wants to do any project, I think he’s still bitter because I wasn’t happy with my table he painted.

Notice the picture is taken far away, the paint job is not the best. The lamp base was a thrift store find, the shade was a splurge from Tuesday Morning. I love it!

I am going on a supply shopping hiatus while we save every dollar for our vacation in June. That means that if I want to make ANYTHING I have to use stuff from my stash, which should encourage me to get around to the stuff I’ve been procrastinating about. 🙂

Oh, I think if any one gets that close to one of my projects they should STEP AWAY. It looks great from here! 🙂 I’m thinking about my project (oh, if you could only SEE my house right now, all the boxes we have everywhere!)…I should be unpacking but I really want to tackle a project like my chairs so we’ll see which one I end up choosing! I’m scared, I am not a good painter.
