I have been reading The Inspired Room for months now. I love her Beautiful Life Series. Don’t we all strive for a beautiful life, you know I guess we all don’t. I tend to forget that there are adults in this world that love D-R-A-M-A. There are women who are catty and pety. I can’t tell you how happy I am that those type of people just aren’t in my life. My beautiful life consist of three great kids, one wonderful husband, an extended family that is supportive and loving, a network of women that are hardworking and honest, a group of girls (a posse as Vicki would say) from church that I know I can count on 100%, a friend that I have known for over 20 years that will randomly send a text that says, “I’m free for the day.”, a sister who sends wonderful fun sunglasses for me and The First Born. Now that to me is a BEAUTIFUL LIFE!
This past week I really focused on peace. I didn’t let anyone or any situation take my peace away from me. I am very much at peace with my decision to leave my current job and literally can’t sleep thinking about the opportunity I will be starting.
I have spent the week working on my “Love Fest” for the month of February. I am growing as a person by reaching outside of my comfort zone with these post that aren’t my “typical” blog post. I still love the post from the 1st and how Pastor Buriff shared his heart and looking forward I think the 10th is going to be special.
I need to come up with some Valentine’s Idea or my love life isn’t going to be beautiful…any suggestions??

I can’t pass up the opportunity to include Ellen and Gladys for a Friday Funny, afterall what kind of life would we have without humor? Ok I admit I find it more funny then some because I relate. I love Jesus and I drink a little.

I was really enjoying reading the posts for A Beautiful Life …. as I ‘d love to participate too…but when I got to your Gladys post …I laughed so hard with tears rolling down my face that my husband came into the room to see if I was okay !
