Date Night!

Today is our first “Date Night” of 2009.  We are going to go out to dinner, just not sure where.  I wish I could say we are then going to go and do something insanely fun, but probably not.  I asked Mr. Wonderful this morning what he wanted to do and I heard the same reply I’ve heard for five years, “Whatever, you know I’m easy.”  UGH!  Lyss is spending the night with a friend so we have a whole night, we’ll see I guess.  I owe him a manly movie after he cried at Marley & Me, but I don’t even know what he wants to see.

Any suggestions for a date night??  I have eleven more ahead of me for 2009.

I started my blog as a way to connect with other paper crafters and of course it has gone a totally different direction. I've been able to share my experience as a mother, my hurt and disappointments over not having a relationship with my maternal unit, my walk with God and how knowing Him has changed me and continues to help me grow into the person I strive to be......

Date Nite??!! We do the same thing. Don’t laugh but my pick for dinner is always the Red Squirrel by Tri-Cty. They have this thing called a Kentucky Hot Brown that is to die for. It gives you really stinky breath and eventually a bad belly ache, but it is sooooo good. Also a bonus is Borders is right next door. As far as movies go we agree to only see funny movies, goofball movies, i.e. Austin Powers, Dodgeball, you get the idea. I love to hear Jeff laugh. He is so serious all the time that when he snorts at the movies it cracks me up. Have fun and enjoy date night. It might seem like a hassle sometimes but when it’s all said and done you will be happy you do it.
