Happy Birthday Jesus!

Please leave a comment and let me know how you are keeping Jesus in Christmas.  I think the commercial end of the holiday makes so many of us forget what this holiday is all about.  I have some plans to remind my bunch about why we celebrate..share your ideas I may steal a few.  See Below!

He’ll be washing our clothes anyway. He said something about
new white robes and crowns for everyone who stays till the last.

already paid for everyone…

(He says you wouldn’t have been
able to afford it anyway…
it cost Him everything He had. But
you do need to accept the ticket!!

far-out drink He calls “Living Water,”

followed by a supper that promises to be out of this world!

people who already has everything else.

(He’s very generous in return though.
Just wait until you see what He has for you!)

reserve a spot for you at the table.
Also, He’s keeping a list of His friends for future
reference. He calls it the “Lamb’s Book of Life.”

Party being given by His Kids (that’s us!!)!
Hope to see you there! For those of you whom I will
see at the party, share this with someone today!

About Michelle

I started my blog as a way to connect with other paper crafters and of course it has gone a totally different direction. I've been able to share my experience as a mother, my hurt and disappointments over not having a relationship with my maternal unit, my walk with God and how knowing Him has changed me and continues to help me grow into the person I strive to be......

This is brilliant. We have also been spending time on the real meaning of Cristmas. We have been to 2 Carols by Candlelight services, tomorrow night we are going to a live Bethlehem village, and then we are also reading the christmas story, and spending time talking about it. Must be working well, because last night in the car, I made a comment about some peoples Christmas lights being OTT, and DD then went on a longwinded explanation about Christmas lights and tied them intoJesus and that is the real point about Christmas, it is Jesus birthday. I couldnt follow her logic, but it was sweet anyway.

I love that. Where did you get it? I might have to use that and read it to my lost family at Christmas Eve.

  3. JO SOWERBY says:

We will be going to church for the crib service at 4pm on Xmas eve and probably midnight mass for Holy Communion. I have a crib every year which I light candles in and have a light for those missing at this time of year as well.
    Merry Christmas.

  4. Madeline St Onge says:

I have my 3 nativity sets up and lit..they have been with me for 36 years. And I make a little Birthday cake on Christmas for baby Jesus

  5. Sara Alvey says:

We spend our Christmas Eve at various church services. With my nephews and niece, we also try to keep the focus off of Santa and on the real meaning of Christmas.
    Merry Christmas!
