Presidential Debate & Food

I have had a long day, it started way too early and has gone way too long.  I have been hungry all day.  I have eaten a lot, but nothing unhealthy.  I just ate my second (yes I said second) WW Fudge Bar (1 point) and let me suggest if you’ve never tried one, go out and buy them and eat one.  YUMMY!!  I had some melba toast and WW Cream Cheese before that, my version of chips and dip.

Logged on to the computer to work on a Christmas present and got side tracked.  Imagine that.  I went over to Angie’s blog to see what she was up to and found out Todd (as Angie said bald guy in the front row next to the other bald guy-I actually have seen him a few times)is in the crowd for the debate tonight.  How cool is that?  I haven’t seen all of the debate so I’m not sure if he has had the chance to ask a question, I am praying that this wonderful Christian man will have the opportunity to put some honesty into this three ring circus.  Please pray for Angie and Todd today, it’s the six month anniversary of Audrey’s passing.

The debate has just made my day longer and uglier.  I feel like it’s a poor representation of America, two grown men just slinging insults and half truths at each other.  I almost didn’t register to vote becaue to be honest I don’t want either one of them to be president.  I don’t trust either one of them.  I don’t think either of them will make the changes in this country that will make a differnce.  I fear where this country is headed.  I’m going to bed frustrated that these two men are the best we have to offer for President of the United States.

I registered because it’s my right, I try to teach my kids either vote or shut up so I decided I better cast my vote…I also like Sarah……

About Michelle

I started my blog as a way to connect with other paper crafters and of course it has gone a totally different direction. I've been able to share my experience as a mother, my hurt and disappointments over not having a relationship with my maternal unit, my walk with God and how knowing Him has changed me and continues to help me grow into the person I strive to be......
