Good Friday!

I was the Easter Bunny today, I delivered 13 Easter Baskets for work…I wanted bunny ears but couldn’t find any.

Shaners babysit for me, him and Alyssa colored Easter Eggs with Casey I would have paid money to have seen that.  It always puts a smile on my face when Shane does those “big brother” things with Alyssa.  He’s really good about hanging out with her, he took her sledding in the big snow last week, took her out to lunch the last time she was off school, and then today colored Easter Eggs.  Last week him, Lena and Alyssa went out to dinner on Sunday…both of the girls wanted to make sure Bubby had his own money…of course he didn’t so that meant I had to pay for all three….smart girls!  I have Alyssa and Lena’s baskets done, but not Shane’s.  Shane is going to Cumberland to my sister Lisa’s place down there with some buddies so I’m filling a cooler for him as his basket.

I got to talk to Cody today, he was at Daddy’s.  Him and Shane are so much alike it’s scarey!

I have really good hair today….$50 can buy you a good cut and style, tomorrow it’ll be back to normal but today it’s not good it’s great hair!

Seven days and counting until Lisa and the boys get here.  I haven’t been this excited since Christmas.  I’ll post pictures of my adorable nephews and that cute sister of mine.  I was driving in my car today thinking how blessed I am to have Lisa in my life.  I am amazed sometimes how much we are alike since we spent so little time together as kids.  She has a great life, and I am so proud of her.  I love her stories, this week it was about her three puppies and Daddy being there when a puppy got hurt.  Alyssa is driving me crazy because Aunt Lisa told her she has baby cows, I’m afraid Alyssa might be a country girl at heart.

About Michelle

I started my blog as a way to connect with other paper crafters and of course it has gone a totally different direction. I've been able to share my experience as a mother, my hurt and disappointments over not having a relationship with my maternal unit, my walk with God and how knowing Him has changed me and continues to help me grow into the person I strive to be......
